Job Title:              CAD Designer – Aggregate Processing Industry
Location:             Shelbyville, Kentucky  
Terms:                  Full Time
Salary/rate:        Up to $37 Based on Experience

About the Role:               
We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented CAD Designer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for developing the initial concept design to the final plant design & layout using 2D & 3D CAD tools.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Layout & design conveying equipment, crushing and screening plants, ensuring all systems & components will function optimally.
  • Work with the Project Manager to develop precise plant layouts, structural framework and chute designs using CAD.  
  • Provide design and drafting support for multiple projects, assisting project managers in meeting deadlines & project goals.
  • Collaborate with the project team to translate design concepts and plant configurations.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Formal education/training in drafting using 2D and/or 3D CAD software.
    • Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
    • Additional industry-specific training or certification a plus.
  • Thorough understanding of:
    • Material handling systems
    • Process flow design
    • AutoCAD and Inventor CAD system (Vault).
    • Hydraulic schematics and piping layouts.
  • Proven experience working with aggregate processing equipment & bulk material handling systems is highly desirable.
 Candidate Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Motivated self-starter.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Willing to travel to job sites (drive or fly) as needed with occasional overnight stays.
